I am Justus Fokker. Former lawyer and director of De Zaak, a platform for 144,000 entrepreneurs, where I built the systems behind marketing, sales and editorial myself. With Studio Zakai I build the same for small companies in the Netherlands and East Africa. I work from Amsterdam and Nairobi.

Questions
What does it cost?
A module costs a one-off EUR 1,000 to 1,500 setup and then EUR 250 to 350 per month. The bundle of three is EUR 3,500 setup and EUR 950 per month. Custom work starts at EUR 3,500, with support from EUR 500 per month. Everything can be cancelled monthly.
How long does it take?
In week 1 I sit in and we pick one process. In weeks 2 and 3 I build and test the first working version next to your current way.
Does my team have to switch to new software?
No. I build around the way you already work, with Excel, Outlook, WhatsApp or whatever you use now. No new platform the whole team has to move to.
Who owns the code and the data?
The data is always yours, also when you stop. With custom work the code is yours too. Modules are licensed: if you stop, you take all your data with you.
What if you are ill or unreachable?
Everything I build lives in your own environment, with documentation and the code. Another developer can take over. For outages I respond the same working day.
