For companies of 5 to 50 people without an IT department

From Excel and email to a system that is right.

Studio Zakai builds and runs custom software for small companies: price lists, quotes, invoices, deadlines and reports. I build it myself, with AI as a tool, and test it on your real examples. Then I keep running it. First working version within three weeks.

No obligation. Bring one process that costs you time, I show you what it will look like.

Your company runs on spreadsheets, emails and the memory of two people.

That works, until it doesn't. A price list gets retyped wrong. A quote goes out with last year's prices. A contract expires and nobody saw it coming. Off-the-shelf software doesn't fit how you work, and you don't have an IT department.

I build exactly what fits: your own app or workflow around the way you already work. No new platform the whole team has to move to.

From how you work today to a system that takes it over.

01Week 1

Watch and scope

I sit in on how it goes now and pick one process with you that costs the most time. We agree what “good” looks like, using your real examples.

02Weeks 2 and 3

Build and test

I build the first working version and run it next to your current way. You compare the outcome with the real numbers.

03Ongoing

Run

After launch I stay on: fix errors, extend, and keep an eye on it so it keeps working.

One process first. The next one only once that works.

Built around real work.

Six things I build most often.

  1. Price lists and rates

Supplier PDFs and Excels become one database. No more retyping.

  2. Quotes and documents

A quote, contract or confirmation in minutes, from your own template.

  3. Invoices and payments

Supplier invoices matched to projects or orders, payment dates tracked, linked to your accounting.

  4. Deadlines and contracts

Expiry dates of contracts, permits and insurance in view, with a task on time for the right person.

  5. Reports

Weekly or monthly reports arrive by themselves, from the real numbers.

  6. Integrations

Outlook, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Notion, accounting, Metabase. I talk to what is already there.

The system never sends or deletes anything without someone approving it. You stay in charge.

Start with one process.

We pick the process that costs the most time. Within three weeks there is a working version you can put next to your current way. Only then do you decide on more.

Not an agency. One builder.

I am Justus Fokker. Former lawyer and director of De Zaak, a platform for 144,000 entrepreneurs, where I built the systems behind marketing, sales and editorial myself. With Studio Zakai I build the same for small companies in the Netherlands and East Africa. I work from Amsterdam and Nairobi.

  • Your way of working comes first, not the software.
  • Nothing goes live without a test on real examples.
  • The system proposes, you approve.

Questions

What does it cost?

First process from EUR 3,500, fixed scope and price. Support afterwards from EUR 500 per month, cancel monthly.

How long does it take?

In week 1 I sit in and we pick one process. In weeks 2 and 3 I build and test the first working version next to your current way.

Does my team have to switch to new software?

No. I build around the way you already work, with Excel, Outlook, WhatsApp or whatever you use now. No new platform the whole team has to move to.

Who owns the code and the data?

You do. The code and the data stay with the company, even if the support stops.

What if you are ill or unreachable?

Everything I build lives in your own environment, with documentation and the code. Another developer can take over. For outages I respond the same working day.

Bring one process that costs you time.
